SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Every dog has his day and today luck was on Nalu’s side.
Santa Monica firefighters brought the 10-year-old Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu back to life after rescuing Nalu from a burning apartment building.
Firefighter Andrew Klein spent 20 minutes performing mouth-to-snout on the dog, as her owner watched on in desperation.
Today the pooch is recovering after spending 24-hours in an oxygen chamber.
