STRUGGLING POSTAL SERVICE WANTS TO SHIP ALCOHOL TO RAISE REVENUE, BUT THERE MAY BE A ROADBLOCK

The U.S. Postal Service wants in on the booze delivery business.

The struggling service is looking for ways to expand its revenues… after losing 16-billion dollars last year alone.

It wants to compete with UPS and FED-EX, but there’s a problem with the post office delivering beer, wine or liquor.

Congress would have to overturn a 100-year old temperance-era law that prevents the agency from shipping alcohol.
